Fr. Hamilton's 90th Birthday

Hello to all at St. Mary's. My name is Lucia Hamilton I am a niece of Fr. Jims and I thought I would update you on Himself. He is currently living in Sevenoaks assisted living center in his home town of Derry. He celebrated his 90 birthday in April of this year, although to look at him he is fantastic for his age. At present, his short-term memory is poor although he speaks fondly about his time in Aransas Pass, St Mary's and the parishioners. He is currently receiving chemotherapy for a blood disorder but enjoys life as best he can. He says the rosary daily for the other residents and prays for you all. I will be visiting him tomorrow and I will tell him I have been in contact.
