Learn more about our Catholic faith! Father Emilio continues to lead OCIA classes. The last May class is scheduled for Thursday, May 29, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Please meet in the church.
Adults seeking to join the Catholic faith or celebrate any Sacrament for the first time, are regarded by the Church as capable of learning about our Catholic faith and appreciating the glorious gift of the Sacraments.
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the process established by the universal Church for individuals to become Catholic and receive the sacraments of initiation -- Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist. OCIA is a program of study, leading individuals through spiritual formation and conversion, to full membership of the Catholic Church. St. Mary Star of the Sea conducts the OCIA program. OCIA classes are currently led by Father Emilo. Please call the Parish Offic to learn more.
